由于发动机缸盖长期工作在高温、高压、热负荷和交变载荷环境下而发生翘曲变形,气缸垫从水道口处冲坏,造成燃烧室压力下降、发动机动力不足和散热器加水口往外冒水。

发动机缸盖变形的处理方法是:由于该机盖上无燃烧室凹形,不必考虑燃烧容积的变化(燃烧室容积的变化值一般不应大于原容积的4%),采用平面铣削的方法加工了缸盖平面;在缸盖与缸体接合面的水道口处安装了一紫铜垫(该铜垫的厚度为水道口凹台厚度的1.2倍),代替气缸垫上的橡胶密封圈,然后安装气缸垫,同时采用先冷紧后热紧的方法坚固缸盖螺栓。用此方法修复的发动机,再未出现过冲缸垫的故障。
